“Take care of you.”
For years, these have been the words I have uttered to my kids as they’ve left for school, moved off to college and ventured out into the world.
For me, the meaning of these words have evolved over time. They are a summary of my well wishes – get a good night’s sleep, drive safe and be careful – all wrapped into four words.
As time has passed, I’ve realized these words are so much bigger than just what I say to my loved ones. When it comes to physical health, mental health, caregivers, nurses, hospice, moms, daughters, grandmas and all of the above, I hope you take care of you.
My journey has led me to this passion to share this message. Whether it’s for a friend recently diagnosed with cancer or a daughter heading off to college, I hope you find something here that lets you share this message with your loved ones.
